Have fun with yours. Mine is currently broken. Electrical issues.
Since I made this video I've had more problems with the wiring and screen. The bike is now inoperable. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
their quality is pretty bad. Yesterday my bike fell off it's kick stand in WIND, and the front brake lever broke into 3 pieces
Got the MX last week and was so close to flipping it when I discovered race mode, the thing is an absolute animal! Love it!
@TMBchopshopI have one. Just put it together. Seems like some of your issues have been addressed. Not sure if the gear box is forged tho lol
I’ve got one and I kinda agree with what he said about the suspension but the speed of it is rapid, I haven’t even been in race mode yet I’m on sport mode which is one below race . I haven’t ridden bikes like this for multiple decades, well since I left school in 1990 or not long after that and I’m obviously getting used to sport still, but I heard that the filth have Stark Vargs but not in my County and until then ………🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷
Idk mine rules. Although ive done a ton of aftermarket stuff
@TMBchopshopmost people seem to care more about hype than actual numbers, yeah and top speed ^^ , I found my arctic allows me to go too fast to easely for my level of self control 😅
Just upgraded from a literal tuttio to the 26 sigma, quite the improvement haha
It's just a dressed up stock one.... Stock powertrain? My buddy has a 108v upgraded one with a 30s7p eve50pl pack. It's a 50kW monster. And why would you buy a smaller 19/16 bike then complain about it being small? That's like buying a 12/14 pitbike and complain about it being small. If you want a larger bike, then get a larger bike. And did you retain the proper gear ratio according to wheel size upgrade? If not, not only did you add more weight, but also rotational inertia. Coupled with a bad battery, no wonder your range was shitty. I upgraded my forks to some DNM MX forks so I could also use a full pitbike brake system. The brake system is lackluster, and suspension is meh, that I do admit. I also upgraded rear shock. But all that said, the bike is still a good deal on used market for under $4k.
I paid full price for this bike and was disappointed that it didnt live up to the marketing hype. Sold it after a few rides. I was mostly disappointed with the lack of range, how some said it would do 80, but only did 68, and how heavy it was while having no place to grab on except the plastics. I remember your posts in the facebook group in those early days!
I realize this video was over a year ago but I just bought the 25 Ultra bee and man this bike is quiet
i hope so i’m thinking about getting one i had the 2025 and i’ve had smaller issues not to much i was a street rider, i had the top triple moving
Damn brother so i just got this bike heres what i learned i have the 19x19 with supermotos this is a great video 📹 by the way i have the issue with the swing arm which may be what your saying in this video you clearly have a defective model and Altis powersports has terrible CS so i got my altis second hand which i do not recommend but i got mine from a reputable seller i paid damn near for a new bike i get about 25 miles my top speed is 82 i get bored before i have to charge my unit but for a 5k bike you could get gas so i would expect a decent made e moto i have definitely heard about needing to unlock the battery 🔋 a fishy smell within the battery indicates a short within the battery
@Rap@Raptor-Ridesan I’m a motorcycle mechanic, have several motorcycles and I own the Altis, I think I would know the difference😭 I’m going to take an easy guess that you’ve never had a motorcycle? It’s night and day. The Altis brakes are garbage, even compared to little pit bikes. They’re just upgraded mountain bike brakes. In the Emoto world they’re some of the best, but they’re leaps behind any motorcycle especially any Brembo.
@ethanlujanworst of any e moto I’ve ever ridden. I’ve had it last less than 10 miles of not fast riding. I would typically get 15-17 miles out of the Altis where I get 30+ miles out of the Arctic leopard xe pro s riding the exact same.
@Hati1x my sigma topped out at 59mph. My arctic leopard xe pro s enduro is better in every way and will go 62 out of the box at 75% power.
I’ve got 24 hours of abuse on mine and I’m still loving it as much as I did on day 1.
I sold my Sigma MX 3 months after I bought it. Horrible suspension, too small, definitely very heavy. My battery would give me about 2.5 - 4hrs. Depended on use.
Xe pro s and vetra blazer are not only faster than the ultrabee stock, you can tune them to go even faster. Those 2 bikes don't get enough attention or aftermarket parts I have the vetra and have been slowly modifying it and it is an amazing bike. It's not only reliable but stupid fast. I only turned down the ultrabee because of the size, it's huge and heavy. Don't get me wrong it's nice though.
Yah. There was so much initial hype about this bike and I fell for it. The entire design of the bike is piss poor. One ride is enough honestly.
really good video. i rode an altis ONCE and it felt like trash, everything just felt cheap and wrong. I feel like they are also really overhyped. ultra and arctic right now are the best emotos out thats not a stark. thanks for making this video and showing people.
Yeah dog I pre ordered mine and I didn’t have any issues literally at all 😭
Dog my bike hit 80. They also didn’t claim to hit 90 they said 75+ the mx obviously isn’t gonna hit that top speed cuz of gearing
It just was getting tugged on by the edge metal piece essentially ripping the wire, it’s all good though I spent a bunch of money recently fixing all the issues
@R@Raptor-Rides I had the Altis for awhile such a great bike Currently on a Arctic leopard enduro pretty much the same as Altis just bigger wheels and a little lighter
@j@jerometruitt2731Seems lots of adults were attracted to the Altis , because it looks different with the plastics , wider, and powerful, it just feels like a motorcycle in comparison to a Surron … But yeah demographically more people live in cities therefore it makes sense most use these on street .. Personally mine is on 95% on dirt And it rides real nice just about anywhere
I ride my Altis Sigma on public roads with ZERO issue.
@Jay4clipssnope mine do over 90 I have black and red one there not much difference other than suspension and sprocket. Yes the MX is little bit more powerful but not by much they both go well over 59 mph 😂
I have altis the black one I have gone 70 on a trail
Love my ALTIS SigmaRed 19/19 goes 80mph.
just got my MX to hit 108mph with 108v Molicel battery on the stock motor still. the rattle is the chain guide, if you tighten the chain or remove the chain guide all together the rattle goes away
You have to go to the bottom of the app and hit unlock full power and you get all 25kw and then turn the power and acceleration all the way up on race and thats how you get your top speed, I hit 76
I have the 25 ultra it rips, such a great bike
@BrooklynNY1979 yeah it's mostly goobers on reddit and fan boys in the YouTube comments. I've only seen one video from 3 months ago where a guy takes apart some of the suspension components and complains about something needing replacement within 150 miles....no way to know if he was abusing it though. Anything will break if you abuse it. And for all his complaints I haven't seen anyone actually report major mechanical failures yet. I've got 200 on mine with no issues other than the ones I caused (broke my left side peg looping the bike) . Saw another where a guy just hit his 600 mile gear box oil change....only issues are minor ones he caused. Other than that it's been user error stuff and electronics issues that are first batch only.
buddy my altis did 75 i think u were not in race mode
my altis 19/19 does 79 beating a ventus one altis with the new bms update 2nd batch
My Altis 19/19 is 72mph. You probably didn’t even turn on the race mode
Altis is definitely meant for street, which is why I got the 19/19. Needs significant upgrades for dirt but its the best IN ITS CLASS overall.
We’ve been riding the MX version for several weeks now. Will be doing a review ourselves. I beleive the Mx version feels way different how it rides. The suspension needs air added to it from the factory and makes a huge difference. We have 3 of them and the chain needed to be adjusted to get rid of the noise coming from the rear end its hitting the chain guard.
Definitely not the case, I just took mine single track riding yesterday and it was amazing. MX if you are doing off road, not the standard version.
In my short amount of seat time, I agree. Not a great dirt bike.
Definitely should have had a MX it's a huge difference specially in a off-road setting. Clanking noise is chain guide in the rear. My forks came with 0 psi when I got it. Pumped it up to around 120 psi and it feels wayyyy better. Bike definitely needs dialing in when it arrives.
I have the Altus and two months ago. The throttle broke because of the cable. It was too tight and I had to wait two months until they sent one to me. It just arrived today and the part that plugs in doesn’t even fit. I think there’s a manufacture error because the clipwon’t attach to the other one.
@SurronSlouch your car isn't shipped to you in a box and thrown around. I just get brand new altis and no bolts were loose...
When i first rode my altis, i wasnt sure if i liked it..was fast but just rode completely different. I was used to popping up slow wheelies on my mx4 as it was so light.. Altis is heavier. But then after 2 days of riding the altis, i jumped back on to my mx4 and hated it.😂 Gave the bike to my daughter.. Love the altis now. Definitely a bike in its own class..
Super weird that the regen is doing that, mine works great and doesn’t change the power delivery. Hopefully it clears up and acts as it should
❤my Red Altis it’s a badass bike feels perfect, Yea the engine braking is insane on the Altus I love it never have to hit the brakes
@ like when there bike comes in. There’s more to put together than most of the other emotos which can be annoying but also a blessing. Like the triple clamp. You need to assemble that which means you can be assured it’s all lubed up right and not have to wonder if a disgruntled factory worker didn’t do it right. Sure all bikes have some issues and this is no different but at the power weight and price compared to buying an ultra bee. Then upgrading motor/controller. On mine, for me, I need just supermoto wheel set and upgraded brakes for street riding. No belt either which I love.
@ 180lbs 25kw/34hp 800nm/500ish lb feet torque. Some people and chargedcycke complained about there’s being clunky. Mine is not that case and the one in the video they use a different rear wheel so idk if I can trust there opinion on a lot for that. First it was amazing then it’s shit so idk. But in my experience mines solid as fk and it rips.
The 19” was our first Altis video but we wanted the 16/19” in our fleet of shop bikes. Despite being slower we made the right call bc it feels amazing now w a few small changes.
@FuskyRides bigger the sprocket, the low the top speed. So, a smaller tire and bigger sprocket make it double slower. Quicker out of the hole, though. My Altis 19/19 (bigger rear tire/smaller sprocket) had a top speed of 75 mph. I weigh 275 lbs.
Glad I went with the Altis....I just had a feeling it was gonna be a little bit better.
@ZaySolis119 I'm running 150 psi in my forks and put 75 psi of nitrogen in the rear shock. I'm 180 lbs and it's not perfect, but way better than out of the box.
I’m running 70psi in my forks which is 20psi more than recommended, and adjusted the clickers, still too soft for my liking. Good for street riding tho
This is Josh Jorgensen. I got the altis Mx and I’ll b honest I wish I would have gone with the e ride sr. When I pre ordered the bike they estimated weight around 170-180 ish pounds and it ended up being 200 plus. I think e ride sr is the perfect weight. When you add upgrades it will probably be 200 plus but if you did the same on the altis it would be 225 plus.
They handle like crap, I'm sure I can answer that better than most being a full time commuter on these bikes & riding in the Sierra's with them, if you get better tires like Shinko 241/244, or the new Vee Hitman73 tire
The official claimed 0-60mph is hard to say as I can’t keep it from doing a wheelie 🤣 which an R3 definitely won’t do. Trust me when I say this will smoke an R3 of the line 😂
I love my e ride Pro SS. technically it has more power than my Sigma right now, regardless, that Sigma straight out of the box is something else 🤟🙏 Rev rides blessed you for sure
@ I have use the bike going sport for 65 miles soo...
@ well the top speed isn’t far off im 135 pounds and mine tops out at around 73 mph the stark is like 84-85
I return my bike had battery issued it wouldn't turn on and the engine part was leaking trash bike ever.
Why do you call the Altis Sigma an 80mph bike. It isn't. Especially when you haven't done a top speed run yet to prove it. There isn't any other youtuber out there claiming they got this bike to 80 mph. I got the 19×19 and have never seen 80 mph even with a 100% battery life.
Dude my forks were kinda sticking at the top. Def don’t recommend 150 psi haha. I’m gonna take it down to 50-70psi. It’s only rated for 50Psi tho
@michaelsararas3261 28 kw on mine Altis Sigma I just smoke a stark bike with Mine to at 500 yards lol
@ChrisChevs the sr is much heavier like 190lbs with much more power. It's ultra bee weight but light bee size. Same with the altis sigma. If you want equal power to the sr but light bee weight the ventus is the way to go. I have an mx3 one of the first in the US so I'm still rocking my 60v battery also. Was gonna get the ultra bee cuz I ride trails and the bigger bike and moto components are more ideal for off road use but with all these new bikes pushing 20 and 25kw I'm hoping they'll make the ultra bee more powerful or come out woth some new options soon so I'm waiting. Really like the gearbox I have on my talaria also which the altis sigma uses. So I'd prob pick an altis over the sr if I was to choose between those two.
@ completely. I have upgraded the insides of mine and they have taken all the abuse I throw at them👌👌
I love the electric bike I just wish they had the same throttle response as a petrol, I think they are close to it now and maybe it’s the fact a petrol has noise and that’s the missing link.
There is definitely some distinct chain rattle but it’s purely because this bike has a chain guide. The motor and the noise that the bike makes is much quieter than all the other bikes. With how often I toss chains, I’ll take some chain guide noise to prevent that from happening
@tannerworley6919Good points. I have an Alta and it’s great on any track but you are looking at 20 laps on the Vet and battery is done. On one of these smaller bikes with a much smaller battery pushing a lot of power it would likely be less? Fox needs to build something in between!
Don’t be. We also did a 12-13 mile night ride after forgetting to charge it. The range is equal or more to all the other bikes we’ve ridden lately (2.0, 3.0, MX5, etc). This video was an introduction and initial impressions. Next videos will be potential mods, trail rides, and range tests.
I’m curious how the build quality and components are gonna be on the production bike. Sucks the brakes are already squealing right off the bat. Coming from the dirtbike world the cheap flimsy parts are kind of a let down! The bikes are still fun enough it’s not a deal breaker but I’d like the bikes to not be clapped out in less than 1k miles 😂
