My lower back is KILLING me right now because of the ventus size lol
@MattSZN-FNIn the house. I have never had a tilt error. You can set Mode 5 as "Boost" or as "Max Torq!!" mode within the app. You also have the ability to adjust power as well. I have my Mode 4 (race mode) set at 36kw. I run 41kw in Mode 5 and I can select between the Boost or Max Torq!! maps. Super bike, love the speed and torque. Max Torq mode won't get you top speed but it will make your arms about 2 inches longer and put you into low earth orbit in sub two seconds. The bike is for a torque and speed nut. Fits me well. You will love it.
I have had mine for about a month or so now. It is still going strong. No mechanical issues whatsoever. I have really learned to feather the brakes which is working well. Occasionally there will be a glitch or error on the screen when you, for example, touch the brake when scrolling through the power modes or touch the brake when under throttle. I have just re-started and the screen cleared. The glitches have never affected operability or performance. I think it's more operator error than anything on my part. I love the bike, Mode 4 and Mode 5 routinely stretch my forearms which I love. Great bike!
Mine has already had 2 broken spokes on the front wheel (keep in mind i only do street riding) and the battery will not turn on when the connectors are plugged into the bike.
Now that I have miles on mine, I agree with this man 100% in regards to the brakes. Coming down from 80+ with the factory brakes takes quite a distance, and the stock brakes fade quickly. Time for EB9's.
I have the same bike. I am 5'10" and it fits me perfect with the 19/16 wheel combo. The suspension is really good. The build quality is great, and although advertised as 32kw, I was able to go into the app and tweak settings. I have my Mode 4 (Race) set at 35.5kw and my Mode 5 (Boost) set at 41 kw. I love the instantaneous speed and torque because I am a speed freak. I agree that they should go to a chain drive from the factory, but that is an easy upgrade. I am not having problems with the brakes, but maybe they would fade and have reduced stopping power after sustained use. Once again an easy upgrade. The grips, yes those could be better, but I am not complaining. Ventus gave us a great platform to make slight improvements to tailor to our likes. If you want a lightweight bike and NOT a larger bike that is competing in size against similar gas powered dirt bikes, this is the epitome of greatness. The EVO is king out of the box. Period.
Got my Mode 5 (Boost) to 41kw and Mode 4 (Race) to 35.5kw. Shooting to go into low orbit tonight.
Got my EVO today. First electric bike, LOVE it! Excellent build quality, and fast! The brakes work great, suspension seems really good (only had a maiden voyage), everything went together like a glove. I am 5'10" 165lb. With the 19/16 wheel setup, I have a nice flat foot stance. In Mode 5, it goes into hyperspace real quick. If you can, you want this.
Ventus one + with the new Aetos Pro controller. Hands down best bike I’ve had. Ive owned all the erides , 3.0 & sr. Stark varg etc.
Bought the Ventus last week it doesn’t compare to any of my other bikes the power is unbelievable I barely even go higher then the 3rd mode
Claimed 71 miles but if you ride it like you should I say about 50 miles. I ride it fast. The range is the same as the eride. We can’t tell a difference.
Just ride mine today for the first time and will be bringing it to King Of the Hammers for the race of kings. Very well made. Thanks for building a solid bike ❤
I hope you can respond to this but I'm having a problem with my ventus with the power not being put out fully even tho the power is to the max
I have a Ventus. I built it out with upgraded suspension! And it’s an absolute monster!!!!!!!
Using the thumb regen with the stock brakes is plenty of stopping power. It takes some getting used to. Also did a 16 rear and drop crown to raise the front with ext rear and front.
I got one a few weeks ago, after riding a YZ250F for many years this thing is insanely quick, the top power mode is stupidly fast.
Also a much needed upgrade is a longer rear fender... I went riding mine in a muddy track and got my back covered with a few pounds of mud
The KKE fork is actually pretty OK, and the RFloxa rear shock is only around $260, your choice of two spring rates (450 lb/in and 550) with the spring available direct from RFLoxa for around $70 if you decide to change it. I ordered the wrong spring but swapped it before i installed no worries. I have no complaints about the KKE front and RFloxa 550 spring out back at 275 lbs in the woods, and as others have said i see no need for more than 20 kW where i ride.
I sold my ultra bee for this. Insane difference not even close to the power of the ventus because of how light it is
Ventus hands down best bike stick out of the box, I have 2 they are so good
Yah i do a Lott of street riding on my v 2025 and changed to shinko golden boy tires and way smooth..but I barely get the bike out of sport sooo!!! much power on the street..
@uv77mc85the ventus one I just sold 3 days ago I would ride sandy Forrest trails specifically two 42mile loops and I got lost on one for a while so it was more miles but by the time I made it back to the truck, I was whooped but the bike still had 37% battery. On that VTB battery they had
I own a Ventus 1+ and I think it’s just as quick as the stark if you can keep the front down
I have the original ventus and ive got no complaints...i had it up to 71 mph fast bike im 200 pounds plenty fast!
Im 6'6" and 240. I love this bike. Pegs could be in a bit of a better place and I like a bit more curve in the handlebars but im definitely not complaining. Suspension is comfortable and enough for me but im definitely not catching any big air. -partly because I dont want to wreck an almost 7k bike. 😂
If you plan on riding it like an actual dirtbike get the leopard, I’ve broken over 12 belts on my eride and I’ve just started riding the leopard there’s no comparison! Leopard is the end all be all.
Totally get where you’re coming from. We could have made a video riding it in stock form and saying, “It’s good… but it sits too low in the front,” or “It’s good… but the tire is terrible,” or “the bars feel awkward,” or “the grips are slippery.” And then… that’s the video. Instead, we fixed those things so we could ride it harder and actually see what the bike’s capable of when it’s set up right. You’re absolutely welcome to ride it how it comes—we’re just here to give our honest opinion and show what worked for us. If you want a bike that’s perfect out of the box, you’re probably looking at a $10K+ machine, and most of those still burn gas. That’s just the truth of this space right now. These lightweight electrics are affordable and powerful, but they all need a bit of dialing to really come alive.
Because we want to ride the bike the way it’s meant to be ridden. We're not going to cruise around the block in stock trim and pretend it’s perfect. The Ventus One Plus has a killer motor and chassis, but out of the box, the front end sits too low, the bars are awkward, and the stock front tire is a joke for real off-road. We didn’t “throw away 25% of the bike”—we swapped a clamp, a tire, a bar setup, and grips. That’s less than 5% of the bike, and it completely transformed the bike. We’re here to be honest, not to sell you on a fantasy. If you’re riding hard off-road, these changes aren’t optional. They’re what take the One Plus from “almost there” to “one of the best in class.”
I have a modded ultra bee. And a modded light bee and a Ventus one. The little bikes are no where near the ultra bee. They bounce around and are really fun for what they are but the ultra bee is in its own class. If you’re looking for an electric dirt bike that feels more like a gas bike the Ultra bee is where it’s at. 100% the best bike out of the box and modified. After owning and riding every other emoto out there the only bike I’ve never sold was the ultra bee.
Thanks for the video, it’s great! I just wanted to share my experience regarding the belt. I’ve been riding the Ventus One since September last year, always on the highest power modes, and the belt hasn’t broken yet—it still looks and feels like new. Just my experience. I did consider upgrading to a chain drive at one point, but honestly, chain drives are just ridiculously loud.
hey man, i got the same bike like 3 weeks ago, lovin it so far
Thanks for the kind words man! I agree it's pretty light for its size especially for how big the battery is. You can't beat the feeling of riding this thing 🙂
I tried to mount two lights but it didn’t end up working.
Yeah I lost the bolts. I’ve since zip tied it haha
No one believed me that the Ventus was this good. It just didn't have the hype of the other bikes. Poorly marketed imho. I rode it in Taft, it was so buttery smooth and roll-on wheelies at 40mph.
Went with a ventus and couldn’t be happier
Hydraulic brakes but I upgraded them. It’s a 72v battery but it’s a quality, safely built battery.
Yes, the top speed should be around 55-60 at those power settings. Assuming they are accurate. I get 62mph at 16.kw on a 200lb rider.
@mark.hewittsweet! I’m at 1150 so far. Had it since October 15th.
Got mine a few months ago and I absolutely it! Over 500 miles on it so far
Same here bro, the thing is a beast! Put over 500 miles on mine so far 🔥
got one of these a couple weeks ago thing is a beast! The reload trigger on the left helps a lot to save your rear breaks also. Glad you made a vid on this bike saving way more money getting this bike than trying to build a surron light bee.
Best bike i have ridden. Just not enough hype behind it. It's good.
I've been riding this almost every day since September. The best e-moto I've had and I've tried many. I may make my long-term review. Spoiler: it still works as new.
I wouldn’t bother with the MX5 honestly. The Ventus has been super reliable so far. 1.1k miles so far.
@murakamiq I originally ordered the 20kw version but I’m glad i went with the 28kw because I still use that power. And yes, I would’ve smoked the 85cc bike no problem. My bike was less than a mile from being empty.
I haven’t messed with the password at all. I don’t leave my bike anywhere unattended. As far as death wobble, yeah also I get that at high speeds. You just have to really hold onto the bars.
Questions, Does your password work? I set password but if u don’t enter password for about 30 seconds, screen turns on anyway. Also sometimes (not always) but I have death wobble at high speeds 55+, but rare occasion, but sometimes low speeds like 30mph also. But other than that, I also love this bike.
I have a ventus one and all i can say is oh my god its quick! It does feel like a 2 stroke 250cc i also have a 2500 watt charger to cut down the charging time from 4.2 hours to 1 hour 10 min....i am going to get a wider tire either e moto or wider off road tire set up
@ yeah the range is surprisingly good. I usually ride on D2 because I ride on dirt 60% of the time and get hours of ride time. I’ve only ran out of range once but I was only a mile from the house. It cuts out at 12% which I didn’t know 😆
Ya your not doing that right at all man. Batteries are volts x amp hours not amps.... and then it equals watt hours. Which is just the capacity of the battery not the performance output. Also this battery is 50ah. To get KW in this case a peak reading of 28KW you would divide the kw by voltage to get the amps your battery is putting out, which is about 388 amps. We were only able to get this bike to pull about 23kw or about 320 amps
