I said the same thing then i got a 79 bike falcon gt,,, Now i have a segway Xaber 300 and will have more... they are brilliant
I have a speed update video. But I did the update and changed the sprocket with not much change
I have a speed update video. But I did the update and even changed the sprocket with no change
Check the belt tension. These bikes r prone to coming from the factory with both the belt and chain massively over toghtened. It sounded like mine did on the first ride and my belt was unbelievably over tightened, like they used a cheater bar to tighten it. It’s never going to be super efficient at a high speed cruise with the stock 58 tooth rear sprocket though. The bike comes in to its own for single track riding and punches above its weight for range in the woods.
Glad to see y’all boys again! I think the temperature plays a significant role in the range test as well. It would be nice if you could add that to your chart. Here in Georgia, my motor and battery temperature had a hard time cooling because it was so humid here. Even when I was stopped. The temp was in the 80s.
I managed to overheat my battery on my GT and it goes into limp mode and only goes 30mph once you overheat battery. Then you gotta pull over and re-calibrate motor to get it off limp mode. Happens to me any time I ride 50mph over 4ish miles. Must of been pretty cool when this was filmed.
What’s the top speed I purchased one the first month they came out and shipped me. Everything was perfect. The torque was amazing. I just tried to take it on the street. Top end was only 53 mph and that was with the GT. I’m not heavy only 160 pounds so somethings wrong because my friend had a pro that went well over 60 with only 10 kW.
Yes I saw a YouTube do that and rode the bike for. While in the water and also ride after that for a while too
Amazing bike super fast crashed soon as I got on it 😂😢
I honestly haven’t monitored the exact time or miles but I mostly ride local trails after work and quick rides on the weekend and it is rare that I reach less than fifty percent. That is probably after and hour or two. I have tuned my eco mode to handle tight single track and it rarely switch to any other modes on tight trails. But open desert and sandy trails are going to burn battery a little quicker for sure
I have a falcon pro with about 1500 miles on it with moderate trail use. But yeah great bike I’m just upgrading to the artic leapord xe pro s enduro soon
for everyone who sees this comment the 79bike falcon gt is the best bike on the market rn i've put mine through 900 miles of pure abuse and only had to get a new linkage cuz the suspension wasn't set up right and i got a flat tire and the brakes are insanely good my brake pads went throught 800 miles and there is still an insane amount of pressure in the front and back brakes so if your considering getting a ebike get the 79bike falcon gt
Dang yeah I forgot to include the audio of that part as well lmao. In another one of my latest videos I tried to wheelie it onto the stand and did the same thing lol.
i just got mine and can run 65 miles top speed & my weights is 176 lbs .probably you over 200 lbs thats why can’t hit 62 miles
lol yeah man, I fixed it after this video. The mount shifted on my ride to the trail.
I’m glad I picked the gt for my 270 pound fat ass, thing gets me to 56mph no problem. I doubt the pro could do the same
@Spartan-dn8ou yes and all it did was make the speedometer read inaccurate. Before update the speedometer was accurate with gps after the update the speedometer would read 58ish and gps would still be around 54ish. And what’s funny is I changed the rear sprocket to a smaller one and all of a sudden the gps and speedometer are reading accurate again. So makes be believe the update just changed the gear ratio to make people think the bike is reaching 58-59 but in reality it’s not. Well at least for my bike. I have a video where I did the update and sprocket change.
Yes I’ve updated it and no it didn’t reach 60 mph. I have an update video I made.
i have a 79 bike falcon gt and i blew the rear tire jsut like 11:40 rode on it for another 30 minutes until i even realized which btw this would have been good if i was even somewhat close to my house but i wasnt i was no where close at all now i was at about 60 something battery and a rode that mf about 10 miles before i was riding on complete rim (btw the tire literally went sideways and completely off the rim if it wasnt for the chain the shi would have came off completely i did have to walk 2 and a half hours home but it was worth because 79 bike such good qualitly if i had some shitty lbx or any other bike other then stark and ultra bee i wouldve been faked even more which after saying that i should say all bike i mentioned i have completely different specs and different power but the 79 bike held up when it was refilled even when it was flat ive gone all over the place with this comment but to explian what i just said i got my tire filled 3 differetn times through me going home first time by my local fire station 2end and 3rd by some random dudes i saw working in their garage now i had to walk it a while between each of those but each time i got air in my tire i was able to actually ride it even with a flat for about 5-10 minutes like i said at the start i was no where close to home so thanks to 79 bike for making reasl qaulity shti compared to other brands
I updated mine and regen throttle delay went away. My throttle is snappier too.
So the lag you feel with the throttle is really js delay. I have the same bike and all you need to do to fix it is to go to the Tuya app and find acceleration ratio. Turn this up and the delay will be gone. The bike comes stock with js like a slow acceleration so if you turn it up, problem solved.
I love my falcon GT, its definitely the best bike in this lighter weight class IMO.
@LemonJam-xr6xxi weigh 120 and i top out at 60
@Hunter_Losi mine tops out at 49.5 and I weigh 120 lbs
At 60 I just bought my 1st E dirt bike, Falcon GT. I bought it for scouting, hunting, and trail riding in stealth mode. 2nd time I went to ride it I got er04 code that pertains to the throttle which was fine and all the way closed. Disconnected battery for 5 minutes, hooked it back up and was able to ride it but everytime I powered it off and powered it up again 5x I had to disconnect battery for 5 minutes. Very concerning considering its not a week old and comes up lame 2nd time I want to ride it. The mechanic at shop I bought it from has no answers or suggestions. Manual that came with bike is lame/useless. Not even basic in information like chain deflection, torque specs, no maintenance info. I find this unacceptable for a bike that costs 5k and comes up lame for 2nd ride. Almost zero information available or customer support. Dealer seems like we got your money, good luck with that. I've asked them for maintenance info and received 0 response. I've owned 43 gas dirt, dual sport, and street bikes in 6 decades of existence and my 1st E dirtbike experience has been the worst and most problematic and its only been 1 week. 😡🤬
@jaxoutdoors904 so the brakes are actually really good. The squeaking kinda went away and then came back, but somebody told me to put a little bit of grease on the backside of the pads and that should help stop them squeaking but the last long I’m 500 miles in still on the original pads and they have more than half life left. And the bike has had no other issues besides the top speed.
The brakes did stop squeaking and bite hard and last awhile iam still on the first set. I have a video about the top speed. It is my most recent upload. More than enough power and suspension is solid.
I'm 6' with shoes, 218lbs. I just pulled off my first backflip at the sedona bike park today. Bike is wicked, suspension a lil soft for my weight, tsc doesn't seem to do anything, but I absolutely love this bike so far.
Tried adding compression then adjusted the preload and it didn't do much. Might send my forks in to someone like suspension syndicate for a professional tune with stiffer springs because the forks are solid just soft.
Yea my pro does 60 and my Gt does 54 but the Gt has way more torque and it’s more exciting to ride
@Runk30well I have both bikes and I would buy the Gt again.
Yeah just open it up by taking out the two mounting screws and realign your spring. Made a huge difference for me. Mine was super loose at first too then I changed grips and spring fell out so I put it back in properly and its flawless now.
Yeah spring just came loose in the throttle housing. Honestly was probably from me putting the new grips on. Just opened it up and realigned the spring and haven't had an issue since. Was worried it would keep happening but it works great now. Also updated the bike to go 60mph and the throttle is way smoother now.
@shawnanderson1360Stock but have an EBMX on the way, once I put that in it will be a lot better. You only get a small increase if you put the x-9000 in with just the stock battery like I have right now.
I have the GT and I'm a little disappointed in the top speed of the GT. I want to try a 56 tooth, but warp9 doesn't make a 56 next size down is 54t so maybe I'll try that.
Just got mine today it goes 50 in D and I’m 230 so I’m content with the speed but have you got a strange motor temp error when it’s not hot ?
@Duraguy it's definitely a poor design. I might work on a fix (If I do I'll share). The red handle strap also affects it closing. On mine, when I turn the key to open the lid, I have to push the lid down pretty hard to compress the strap and then the lid unhooks from the latch.
yes it sucks and the cover doesnt close all the time for me either man
My GT is a PITA to plug the battery connector on for some reason
@jmamba244GT for 4k is a great price. The only thing I didn’t like about my GT was the top speed wasn’t as advertised. Even with the updated tune it was basically the same speed (55pmh) so idk what they have going on but that was super disappointing for me. My pro hits 60 on GPS and my SR hits 70+
@Imvengeance.I have a video filmed about it just gotta edit it. It didn’t fully fix the issue. It added a few miles and hour. I smaller sprocket is needed to reach the higher top speed
Did the update. Not much change added a few miles an hour. I’ll have a video on it soonish. But sprocket change to a smaller one is needed to get it 60+. Which is what I’ll be doing
@24kElbowwell for the screens they said they are using what they have in stock at the time so some got built with the new screen some with the old falcon pro screen, speed issue is because they put a bigger sprocket on the Gt and that’s what’s causing it to only go 53. The falcon pro has a smaller sprocket and my pro hits 56-57 with me and my Younger brother hits 60 with its. And the Gt is offered in white and yellow there is no falcon pro that is white and yellow. Main difference with the Gt is it comes with better breaks and way more low end power. My Gt gaps my brothers pro off the line
@RevandRideBoys I tried that but it’s the throttle being so powerful like it’s explodes a second late, you talking about the top speed ?
I had both bikes as well, I prefer the pro. Ended up selling my GT and buying an Eride pro SR. 25kw is insane.
@smokegang4501I’d grab it. I am enjoying the bike. No other issues have happened. Especially if the update fixes the speed. It will be best bang for ur buck. I’ll be posting a video tomorrow morning comparing the falcon pro vs the falcon gt
Yea does suck about the display if it’s supposed to have the new display it not fair to the people who got the old display but I did pay 4700 for mine. i am more mad about the speed. Considering I just got my brother a falcon pro and he hits 60+ on it no problem
Mine is the same way. Please tag me if you figure it out. My one buddy who got the same bike said that his did the same thing till he hit about 150-200 miles on it then he randomly gained power back.
I got the falcon pro and only top out at 48 and it says it's supposed to top out at 56
@RevandRideBoysjust got mine, it gets to 61. 79bike said it is a software issue, a programmer cable came with your bike and an update with be dropped soon.
there might be a defect affecting the top speed as my falcon pro can go around 63mph
@RevandRideBoysI’ll see if I can do that for you. When I got on it the first time, it was on dirt and that torque was wild so I wasn’t even thinking about the speedometer
This one Definitely has the power to climb hills some with less power may not. But stay tuned i am just getting started on YouTube so I have not got the chance to take it into the woods yet. But iam planning on it soon
@armoredsaint007I don’t think it’s because it has a load because if you consider the falcon pro it has less power and gets the same top speed that iam getting on this. Also it get to 50 mph with struggling and then just stops picking up speed. I talked with someone and he said he’s gotten one of his to 61 and another to 53 so who knows lol
Yea I decided to be the test dummy haha😂. No my shock doesn’t rub. Only thing i want is my bike to get closer to there claimed 62 mph top speed and I’ll be happy.
I didn’t ride it much more after the battery update but I haven’t charged it yet since that ride so I’ll ride it some more and let you know the mileage I get out of it.
Are speedometer when we are doing 40 miles an hour on our gps. It doesn't clock the miles correctly either due to this. We are also having a lot of problems with the bike not staying on and after being sent multiple parts with like won't even turn on. There are other people with controller problems with these bikes, the quality control of this company is horrible buy an e ride or a sauron
Are 79 bike Pro falcon has had nothing but problems and only has 70 Mi on it with three charges on the battery. We have been sent a new driver box, new screen, and a new headlight. After installing all these things the bike will not turn on. Are original problem was the bike cutting on and off non-stop. Their solution was to send us a light driver box. I think since our headlight went out they thought this was causing the problem. Now it's not even cutting on. Other people have had problems with the controllers but it's really hard to find anything online about it. It sucks because I spent over $4,000 on this for my 13-year-old son and he has been not able to ride it for 2 months during the peak riding time of Summer
This bike is legit! I have put about 4 hours on it so far and have been super impressed! Will say the power curve is a little steep and takes getting used to, but once you do, the bike is a weapon!
I’ve also done a video on it, I’ve got one myself amazing Bike incredible
